Linda L. Mays

Linda Loucille Mays, age 73 of Canyon, TX passed away on January 3, 2022. Linda was born in Hamilton Field, CA on October 21, 1948. She cared for so many people throughout her life. She loved her family and would do anything for them. Linda worked and retired from the City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department after working 30 years. She will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her parents Olga Brand Mays, Earl Layfette Mays, her brothers Billy Earl Mays and Richard Lee Mays. Survived by her brother Raymond James Mays, daughters Rhonda Mays and Partner Pam Woolsey, Judy Garafola and husband Rick Garafola, four grandchildren, Stevie Mays, Malachite Mays, Alexys Garafola, Jaxon Garafola and three great grandchildren, Dillon Morgan, Clayton Morgan and Mark Wickesser. Visitation will be at LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral home located at 8310 S. Coulter Road, Sunday January 9, 2022 from 2 pm – 4 pm. Graveside Service will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery located at 14200 Interstate 27 on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
