Linda Cherry

Linda was born Sept 13, 1952, to Lloyd Cleo Wheeler and June Wheeler of Amarillo Texas. She worked as a secretary for Billy’s Bandaid for many years and Caregiver to many patients and loved ones. Linda’s favorite pastime was spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Linda is described as being the happiest, most loving, and most charismatic person. She loved Hard and Big and always had a “saying” for any situation, good or bad. Linda lived life to the fullest and made everyone around her laugh and smile. Linda passed on Oct 22, @ 03:32 am.

Linda is survived by Brett Mcgregor the love of her life, her kids Stacy Early, Melinda, and Randy Conner, Douglas and Alexis Cherry, Aaron Cherry and sisters LaJuana and Ken Albright, Lisa Brown, Kenny Purkey, and 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Linda is proceeded in death by her parents Cleo Wheeler, and June Wheeler, Sister Lana Bennett, Brother Lloyd Wheeler Jr, and Grandmother Gertrude Allard.


A Celebration of Life will be held at Jubilee Apostolic Church on Nov.12.22 at 11 am.
