Librada Prieto, 88,of Amarillo died on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Holy rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 21, 2017 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm, Monday, May 1, 2017 in St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St, with Father Felipe Alvarez as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Librada was born on November 2, 1928 in Mexico. She enjoyed listening to music, gardening and was a very good cook.
She is survived by three daughters, Ofelia Ruiz, Lupe Ruiz and Maria Ruiz; two sons, Arturo Ruiz and Pedro Ruiz; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
