Leticia Duke, 53, of Amarillo passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Leticia was born on February 23, 1961 to Ruben and Maria Jaquez in Ciudad Juarez. Leticia married her husband Hank on April 3, 2001 in Hereford, Texas. Leticia lived and loved for her children and grandchildren. She loved being outdoors with her grandchildren. Leticia was a strong lady who was loved by her family and will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband Hank; three daughters, Mayra Castorena and husband Jesse, Brenda Chavez and husband Pablo and Judith Castorena; one son, Omar Castorena amd wife Marisol; her mother Maria Guadalupe Alvarez, all of Amarillo; three brothers, Ruben Jaquez and wife Rosario and Jorge Jaquez, both of Mexico and Roberto Jaquez and wife Rafaela of Amarillo and ten grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5-7 p.m., on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
