Leslie Ray Yarbrough

Leslie Ray Yarbrough of Amarillo, Texas passed away January 16, 2021. Leslie was born January 17, 1951 in Electra, Texas to Wanda and Tim Yarbrough.

He is survived by his wife Gwenda Yarbrough, son Justin Yarbrough and wife Christina; daughter Tiffany Perez and husband Omar Perez; sister Karla McMahan and husband Presley; brother Jeff Yarbrough and wife Debbie; grandchildren Bergan Yarbrough, Carter Yarbrough, Bella Perez, Violet Perez and Daisy Perez.

Leslie graduated from Phillips High School in 1969 attended Frank Phillis College and received his associates. Leslie worked and retired from Conoco Phillips. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers, golf and Texas Tech. He enjoyed golf, softball and volleyball.  Leslie was involved with Compassion International, St Jude’s and the Ronald McDonald House.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday January 20, 2921 at 10:00 AM at the La Grone Blackburn-Shaw Chapel 8310 S. Coulter St, Amarillo, Texas. The Service will be broadcast live from the La Grone Blackburn-Shaw Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
