Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 4600 S. Western, with Dr. Jim Smith officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter. Graveside Committal Service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 in Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA, with Rev. Rob Bruce officiating.
Leslie was born June 29, 1965 in Marietta, GA to Robert and Dolores Feagans. She graduated from George Walton High School in 1983. She and her family moved to Amarillo in 1995. Leslie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She kept books for Billy and Carolyn Campsey and several other firms, including Dan Monk Construction and Clark Roofing. She was a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Leslie loved to cook and bake and serve others and cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dolores Feagans and her four grandparents, Mansel James and Oralee Feagans and Forrest and Willie Lou Bussell.
Survivors include Jeff Beasley; her daughter, Samantha; her son, Matthew; two sisters, Sheila Green and husband Carrol of Granite, OK and Robin Weaver and husband Wayne of Hiram, GA; her brother, Mike Feagans and wife Mary Lou of Tamassee, SC. She is also survived by her dear companion Rick Baker and his children, Zoe and Kurt.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter.
