Leonard was born in Lubbock on May 12, 1986 unto Gustavo Romo and Maria Torres. He was raised and educated in Amarillo
Preceded in death by his brother Jerry Torres
Survivors include his mother Maria Torres and his step father Patricio Chacon of Amarillo, three daughters Zailynn Torres, Nevaeh Gitan and Abigail Torres of Lubbock, Two sons Zarian Torres of McAllen and Jerry Jeremiah Torres of Lubbock and three sisters.
