Leon was born on November 4, 1934 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Cecil and Pauline Okerson. He went to be with his Lord on Thursday June 17, 2010. He worked for the City of Amarillo as an Equipment Operator for 38 years. He was an avid OU fan and a Cowboy fan and loved to travel.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Okerson, a son, Ronnie Okerson and wife Wanda, 2 daughters, Pollie Tipton, and Kelly Wall and husband Casey,3 grandchildren, Tosha Morton, Bradley Tipton, and Adam Wall, and 1 great-granddaughter, Avery Morton.
