LaVerne Rosenbaum

LaVerne Bennett Rosenbaum, 94, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Llano East Cemetery with Brother Bruce Ridling of Unity Baptist Church officiating.

LaVerne was born in Estelline, TX on April 22, 1925 to Christopher and Fannie Bennett. She was a housewife, loving wife, mother and Nana who loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, John Rosenbaum; her father, Christopher Columbus Bennett; her mother, Fannie Brown; a brother, Virgil Bennett; three sisters, Virginia Pair, June McDonald and Patsy Skaggs and a grandson, Ricky Chavez.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl Smith, Sheila Chavez and Jan Mackowiak; five grandchildren, Bryan Chavez, Dee Boeka, Melissa Rodriguez, Christa Glasgow and Jason Mackowiak and eight great grandchildren.
