Laura Lee Roden

Laura Lee Roden 89, of Amarillo passed away July 3, 2022. She was born on April 21, 1933 to Sam and Nellie Veach Gibbs. Later Laura married William Delmar Roden.

Laura retired from Continental Telephone as an Operator. She was a member of Arden Road Baptist. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, quilting, cross stitch, playing cards and going to the senior citizens group in Dumas.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Sam and Nellie Gibbs, stepmother Van Gibbs, husband William Delmar Roden, son Gary Dale Roden, four brothers and two sisters.

Laura is survived by daughter Vanessa Pemberton husband Randy, daughter Kim Roberts, grandkids Skyler Pemberton spouse Sabrina, Cory Roberts, Christie Pemberton, Shayla Coon spouse Bryant, great grandkids David Pemberton, Sydnie Pemberton, Ainsley Pemberton, Garrison Coon, McKenna Coon

Service will be 10:00 am Wednesday July 6, 2022 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Chapel 8310 S. Coulter Rd. Amarillo TX. Interment to follow at Jester Cemetery in Greer OK.
