Larry Keith Freeman, 67 of Amarillo passed away on November 29, 2011.
Mr. Freeman's funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, December 3, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road with Rev. Steve Dawson of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating.
The Family will receive guests from 5 to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 2, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road Chapel, Amarillo, TX.
Larry Keith Freeman was born on September 15, 1944 in Oklahoma City to Earl and Allie Freeman. He grew up in Ringling, OK and proudly served our country in the U. S. Navy while stationed aboard the USS Midway during the Vietnam era. He married Marie Grover in Fort Worth on Oct. 21, 1968. Larry coached many years with his sons and the sports they played with Kid’s Inc. He established Freeman’s Striping Service in 1979 and operated it until his retirement in 2007. Mr. Freeman was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Eddie Freeman and sister, Allene Nichols.
Those left to cherish his memory are his his wife Marie, two sons Kenny Freeman and Kevin Freeman and wife Rose of Amarillo; Seven grandchildren, Chris and Kinzie Godfrey, Kendra, Keith, Kenton, Kameron and Mathew Freeman; Two brothers, Rick Freeman of Lone Grove, OK and Gary Freeman of Wichita Falls, Two sisters Earlene Goddard of Ardmore, OK and Patsy Bush of Hazlehurst, Miss. and many other loved ones.
