LaRaine P. Andrews, 70, of Amarillo passed from this life on Friday, June 1, 2018. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Wellington, Texas. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.
LaRaine was born on October 18, 1947 in Wellington, Texas to Wilson Lee and Shirley Frances Porter. She grew up in Wellington where she graduated from Wellington High School. Laraine worked as a bookkeeper for Hedgecoke Properties. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wellington.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors included her brothers and sisters, Rod Porter and wife, Alta, Zo Vrana and husband, Bruce, Judy Smith and husband Michael and Joe Porter and wife Dona Safran; close friends, Joan Yurt, Kenneth Ratliff, and Blair Andrews; her beloved ten nieces and nephews and her (3) 4 legged kids.
Memorials may be made to Amarillo S. P. C. A or Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society.
