Lan Thi Huynh, 80, passed away April 30, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas. She was born on April 15, 2024, in Vietnam to Kha Van Huyan and Huong Thi Nguyen. She was married to Trieu Vo and together they had eight children.
Her survivors include her husband, Trieu Vo and their children: Linh Vo, Hung Vo, Cuong Vo, Thuy (Floyd Stahl) Duong Vo, Dan (Sang Nguyen) Vo, Trieu (Ivy) Vo, Trinh (Long Le) Vo, and Thanh (Minh Bui) Vo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Huynh belonged to the First Baptist Church and loved to cook for events there. In fact, she was known for how much she loved to go grocery shopping, to cook, and to clean. She was also a cute and funny character who enjoyed watching Van Son and Bao Liem and comedy shows. She was sensitive to smells and gave tough love sometimes, which strengthened her family. Lan loved seeing her grandchildren’s faces. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, and they loved her in return.
