LaDonna Kay Griffith, 64, of Amarillo passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at The Church at Quail Creek with Pastor Kyle Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
LaDonna was born on July 10, 1953 in Amarillo to Duane and Esther Hetzel. She worked at The Church at Quail Creek. LaDonna loved riding with her husband, James on their Harley. She was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and loved participating in their ministries. She truly loved her CMA family and her Church at Quail Creek family. She was an avid baker and always entered the Tri-State Fair cook offs every year where she won several times. LaDonna loved to be outside fishing, boating and camping at Lake Fryer.
She was preceded in death by her Mother.
She is survived by her husband James; a son, Justin Stallings and wife Robyn; her father, Duane; a brother, Dennis Hetzel and wife Susan; a sister, Diane Miles and husband David; two step sons, Timothy Griffith and Ray Griffith; a step daughter, Daisy Griffith; a grandson, Garrett Stallings and four step grandchildren, Ella Griffith, Donovan Griffith, Dante Griffith and Joanna Griffith.
