Kevin Hampton

Kevin Hampton, 60 of Amarillo went to be with his loving Lord on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 5:34 pm. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 29, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Kevin was born to J.C. and Veronica Hampton on November 20, 1957 in Wilmington, Delaware. Kevin loved the Lord every day and knew this was his temporary home. He was a member of Journey Church and dearly loved going to church and hearing awesome things about our Lord. He worked at Texas Tech Health Science Center, Larry Barber AC/Heat and Amarillo National Bank.

His family was very dear to him. Kevin loved all his children and grandchildren dearly. He loved to camp, fish, watch action movies and work on his 1967 Mustang. Kevin will be truly loved and missed.

He leaves behind his soulmate and lifetime love, Kim Hampton; daughter, Amanda Lewis and husband, Rodger, and their children, Ryne, Tyler and Alex; son, Charles D. Flanagan, Jr. and wife, Mona and their daughter, Irelinn; daughter, Katie Patton and her children, Jerry, Nathan, Makayla; daughter, Shawna Finck and her children, Izaiah, Brycin, Logyn, Keetynn; brother, Duane Hampton; sister, Constance Rosenburg and husband Paul and their children, Elise and husband, Michael,and Daniel and his wife Addie Rose and their daughter, Olive Grace.
