Kenneth Cole Braden, 54, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Life celebration services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.
Kenneth "Bud" Braden was born on January 26, 1963 in Southgate, California to Kenneth Eugene Braden and Jo Ellen Hampton. He worked as a commercial painter for Jack C. Thomas and Palmer Painting. He was a dedicated craftsman where he was proud of the buildings he had painted here in Amarillo. Bud will be remembered for his cooking and sense of humor. He always could tell a funny joke. He loved his family and friends very much and will be missed by them all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Braden.
Bud is survived by his wife of 31 years, Peggy Morris; his mother, Daisy Adams and her spouse Kyle Todd; his children, Jasper Colby Morris, Samantha Jean Gonzalez and spouse Skye; Melinda Jo Braden and spouse, Freddie; his siblings, Nannette Braden, Butch Braden and spouse Becky and Buz Braden and spouse Dianne, six grandchildren, Kaden, Colby, Bentlee, Avery, Karsyn and Kanden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
