Kason Ryder Cook 7, of Amarillo, passed away on February 4, 2023. He was born on July 12, 2015, to Brandon and Michelle Cook in Amarillo, Texas.
He was diagnosed early in infancy with CASK gene mutation and fought it with his all. Kason finished through 1st grade in homebound school, and was a member of Trinity Fellowship church. He enjoyed vacations to the mountains and beach. He loved cuddles, dad tickles, and when his brother played cars with him.
Kason is survived by his Parents Brandon and Michelle Cook, Brother Karter Cook, Sister Avery Cook, Grandmother Debra Cook, Grandparents David and Rhonda Low, Aunt Jessica Archuleta, Uncle Jonathan Richie, Uncle and Aunt Stephen and Connie Low, Aunt Keely Low, Cousins Kyle Archuleta, Lane Archuleta, Lola Low, Great-Grandparents Peggy Helffrich, Glenda Cook Jimmy and Lynda Low, and Marlin Mills.
He is preceded by Grandpa Sam Cook, Great-Grandpa Cecil Cook, and Great-Grandma Barbara Mills.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to The CASK Gene Foundation at caskgene.org , or Children’s Miracle Network at 500 S. Taylor St. Ste. 1060 223 Amarillo, Texas 79101.
