Judy Morris

Judy Morris (75) passed away, per her request to Carl, at home in Amarillo on Friday, July 29, 2023.  She was born to Dessie Rene Bush, and was raised by Sonny Boy Hill, on April 5, 1948, in Marshall, Texas.

Judy attended school at Carver and only attended until her 9th grade so she could take care of her mother Dessie Rene Bush.  She was very close to several classmates and stayed in touch with them.  She loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved to entertain friends at her house during a BBQ.  To all those who knew her, she loved to “Chief it up with the Boss” because she was the boss.

She is survived by three children and four grandchildren.  Her children are John Henry Westmoreland (Crystal Ritchie) who are parents to Audra Kay Ray (Idarius), Breyonia Westmoreland, Siniah Westmoreland, Josiah Westmoreland, and Joseph Ritchie; Carl Westmoreland whose children are Carl Dewayne, Moses Detrick, Zachary Andrew Viduarri, Zayne Ann Viduarri, and Calee Follins (Jeff), who have two girls; and Patrick Horn whose child is Alexis (Chris) Medina whose boys are Aaron and Abel.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two boys, Weldon and John Harvey Westmoreland.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel at 1505 Martin Road at 2:00 pm.
