Juana Gutierrez

Juana M. Gutierrez, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at home.

She was born April 24, 1933 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Encarnacion and Matilde Madrid. She married Urbano Gutierrez on January 20, 1951. She was a homemaker and a mother of six sons; Urbano Gutierrez, Arturo Gutierrez and his wife Amanda all of Dumas, Texas, Fidencio Gutierrez and his wife Antonita of El Rito, New Mexico, Isreal Gutierrez, Jesus Manuel Gutierrez, and Martin Gutierrez.

She enjoyed gardening and knitting/crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a love for animals and raised many fur babies as well as birds. Many of her grandchildren spent their summers at her home and she taught them many life skills as well as children activities, which they enjoyed very much.

She is proceeded in death by her husband; Urbano Gutierrez and three sons; Isreal Gutierrez, Jesus Manuel Gutierrez, and Martin Gutierrez.

She will be deeply missed by friends, neighbors, family and the many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry on her memory.
