Juan Franciso Vallejo

Juan Francisco (Johnny) Vallejo, 65, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Amarillo, TX.  Visitation will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 12:00-7:00 pm in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.  The service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 10:00 am at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.

Johnny was born on March 5, 1957, to Francisco and Mary Vallejo in Plainview, TX.  He traveled back to Mexico because his friend wanted him to meet this girl. They fell in love at first sight and soon he married Rosa A. Hernandez on March 15, 1999.  He had three children:  Eric, Diana, and Juan Carlos.

Johnny was a humble and good man who got along with everyone.  He loved being with family and friends sitting around talking and telling stories at home and in his shop.  He was a mechanic and loved to work on vehicles. One of his favorite things to do was to watch NASCAR.  He even collected model cars and had a wall full of them on display in his home.  He also loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Francisco V. Vallejo, his brother, Frank Vallejo, and a son, Eric Vallejo.

His survivors include his wife, Rosa A. Vallejo, his daughter, Diana Vallejo, his son, Juan Carlos, his mother, Mary L. Vallejo, and his granddaughter, Isabella Vallejo.  His surviving siblings are Maria DeLeon, Marylou Vallejo, Teresa Lamborn, Debi Myer, Tina Phillips, Lupe Vallejo, Ida Vallejo, Richard Vallejo, Michael Vallejo, Tony Vallejo, Chris Vallejo, Joey Vallejo, and Kathy Burton.
