Joyce R. Richardson, 90, of Amarillo died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Colorado Spring, Colorado. Services will be at 10:00 am Monday, August 29, 2016 at Northridge Church of Christ with Mr. Hal Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Pampa, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Joyce was born on July 8, 1926 in Brownfield, Missouri to James and Fannie Dickens where she gradated from high school. She married Jack W. Richardson on February 9, 1949 in Pampa, Texas. Joyce was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her children, Roy Dickens, and wife Kathy, Linda Kay Mangham and husband, Richard and Paul Richardson and wife Arlinda Kay; brother in law, Bobby Richardson and wife Charlene; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
