Jose Luis Santos, 76, of Amarillo passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 4, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.
Jose was born on August 19, 1944 in Mexicali, Mexico to Donaciano and Felicitas Santos.
He is preceded by his parents; two brothers, Alfredo Mancilla and Jose Cortez; one sister, Maria Mancilla and one grandson, Luis Angel Santos.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maria Santos; five sons, Arturo Santos and wife Aurora, Jose Santos and wife Malena, Luis Santos and wife Veronica, Antonio Santos and wife Marcia and Javier Santos and wife Sonia; three daughters, Patricia Santos and husband Jose, Concha Santos and husband Javier and Chayo Santos and husband Alfonso; twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Jose Mancilla and Alfonso Mancilla.
