Mr. Rodriguez was born April 20, 1948, in Levelland to Augustine and Raphela Rodriguez. He loved to joke with his family, tell stories, dance, fish, garden and watch Cowboys football and Rangers baseball. He was a great father who always gave good advice to his children, and he loved his wife very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Rodriguez; and two brothers, Jose Ramirez and Armando Ramirez.
Survivors include two daughters, Noelia Trevino and husband Tony of Abilene and Enedelia Painter and husband George of Amarillo; a son, Jose Ramirez Rodriguez Jr. of Amarillo; his wife, Nancy of Amarillo; four sisters, Mary Bravo and Isabel Rodriguez, both of Hereford, Diana Munoz of Abilene and Alicia Voire of Brehnville, Ore.; a brother, Frank Ramirez of Hereford; and six grandchildren.
