Jose “Tattoo” Lucero, 30, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Mr. Lucero was born June 4, 1981, in Hereford to Jose and Norma Lucero. He attended
Hereford schools. He lived in
Amarillo for 14 years. Jose worked for Alstom Power for four years. He was a big Redskins fan, and loved barbeques, cookouts and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jeremy Lucero.
Survivors include his wife,
Tiffanie Lucero; three daughters, Isabelle Resendes Lucero,
Anabelle Lucero and Elabelle Lucero, all of Amarillo; two sons, Abel Lucero and Anthony Lucero, both of Amarillo; his mother, Norma Lucero of Amarillo; a sister, Nelda Hernandez and husband Mark of Amarillo; four brothers, Roy Lucero and wife Theresa of Hereford, Josh Lucero and wife Chasity of Albuquerque, N.M., Odie Garza and wife Melissa of Amarillo and Alfredo Garza and wife Laura of Hereford; and many other loving family members.
