John “Johnny” Gulley

1939 – 2021

John Daryl Gulley, 81, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at his home. A graveside service will be held October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Oklahoma Lane Cemetery, 445 FM 1731, Farwell, TX.

Johnny was born December 29, 1939, in Byers, TX to Otis G. Gulley and Berta L. Adams Gulley.

He married Faye Routon on October 10, 1969.  He was the owner of Telephone Service Contractors, Inc.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: his wife Faye Gulley; his daughter Angie Gulley, his daughter Rene’ Garner Hays (Ron Hays), his son Dennis Garner (Cindy Garner), six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otis & Berta Gulley and eight siblings.

He proudly served in the U.S. Armed Forces, 9th Infantry Division, U.S. Army in Vietnam.
