John Michael Crossland IV, 48, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Family and Friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm Monday, August 28, 2017 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Canyon, Texas. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
John was born on July 23, 1969 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to John M. and Connie E. Crossland. He moved to Amarillo with his family in 1971. He graduated from Palo Duro High School. He worked as a computer technician for Dell Computers in Austin. He enjoyed mountain biking and lifting weights.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his sister, Kimberly Ann Haraden.
John is survived by his parents, John and Connie Crossland; aunt, Cheryl Boland and husband Pete; uncle, John Long Sr. and wife Sandy; brother in law, Robert Haraden; nephew, Courd Haraden; nieces, Jordan Haraden and Kyrstan Haraden; great niece, Madeline Luksic; cousins, Keith, Shawn, Aaron, John, Rick and Jessica.
