Joan was born September 6, 1935 in Charlotte to John and Lottie Windham. She married C.J. Douglas March 4, 1973 in California. Amarillo has been their home for the past 36 years. Joan enjoyed morning coffee that stretched into the evening and visiting with friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, C.J. Douglas
Joan is survived by a son, Jeff Broom, a brother, Miles Windham and wife Charlotte, a niece and a nephew.
The family will accept guests and friends Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
