Jo Delle Walker

Jo Delle "Doe Doe" Walker, 85, of Amarillo passed from this life on Sunday, August 26, 2018. A special visitation will be held at Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 30, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Jo Delle was born on September 17, 1932 in Amarillo to Jay Delle and Oma Ruth Johnson. She married her soul mate Bobby Walker and they lived a full love filled life, she was the rock of the Walker family. Every year they would go camping in the mountains and spend Thanksgivings in Juarez, Mexico with the Hookers. Jo Delle loved unconditionally. She blessed her family with words of wisdom such as;"There's not a spot where God is not", "There's good in everyone", "Good better best I'll never let it rest until my Good is Better and my Better Best", "This too shall pass," and "Try it you might like it." She loved her grandkids, Joe Delle was the best " Doe Doe" ever! She is now with her soul mate, son and best friends eating beans and drinking strong coffee.

Jo Delle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Booby Walker, son, Jamie Wrather and best friends, Charles and June Hooker.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ranelle Mershon and husband, Ken and Michelle Walker and significant other, Debbie O'Hara; step son, Billy Bobby Walker; seven grandkids, Amber Reynolds, Ashlie Summers and husband, Brandon, Kendra Bice, Laci Magill and husband, Mike, J.J. Wrather and wife, Stephanie, Rhett Walker and wife, Leslie, and Amanda Walker; and eleven great grandchildren.
