Jimmy Rogers

Jimmy Rogers, a devoted daddy, and loving pawpaw, passed away May 8th in Amarillo, TX at the age of 81.

Jimmy was born March 30, 1942 in Eufaula, OK to Calvin Rogers & Ruby Phillips. He grew up in Plainview, TX where he worked at Harvest Queen Mill for 35 years. Jimmy married Carolyn Dale Sanders, the love of his life on September 7, 1963 in Plainview. TX

Jimmy is survived by his beloved family, his daughter Kim Young, husband Brandy Young and daughter Jeannie Segedy, husband Bobby Segedy of Amarillo.

Jimmy was a very proud pawpaw to his grandchildren. Dustin Wood of Austin Texas, Tyler Young of Amarillo, Sydney Samolewski of Bay City, MI, Brandon Painter of Denver, CO, and Randee McClary of Amarillo.

Jimmy had the extra blessings of eight great-grandchildren Croy & Romee McClary, Porter Segedy, Camden Smith, Owen & Averly Young, Brynlee & Zander Samolewski.
