James "Jim" Tash

James "Jim" Tash passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Jason Archuleta officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Jim was born on December 4, 1940 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to James and Mildred Tash. He graduated from Anadarko High School and moved to Amarillo. Jim drove a truck for Levi Strauss for 23 years. He was always driving a truck and was a hardworking man. Jim loved country music, watching western movies and the Lifetime channel. He also liked working on his old "T-Bird" in his shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his best friend and mother of his 2 daughters, Sharon Curry: 2 daughters Jamie Garten and husband Darrel and Jennifer Bouressa and fiance Travis Homer, all of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren James Bouressa and Shelby Garten, both of Amarillo; 2 step-sisters, Dianne Fox and husband Earl of Williamsburg, NM and Deborah Cook of Sweetwater; 2 step-brothers, Bill Cook and wife Helen of Issaquah, WA and Michael Halle Cook and wife Debbie of Houston.
