Jerry Don Montgomery

Jerry Don Montgomery, 79, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 in Amarillo. He was born on September 19, 1941 in Tahoka, TX to the late H. C. Montgomery and Annie Wood Montgomery. On November 24, 1964, he married Bette Hulsey in Amarillo. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Bette Montgomery of Amarillo; two sons, Jerry Paul Montgomery and Brian Lee Montgomery and wife Lucy, all of Amarillo; grandchildren, Monique Trinidad and fiancé Chuck Speckeld and Samantha Trinidad and boyfriend James Cordero; great grandchildren, Anessa Tedford, Charli Goff, Myla Speckels, Ramona Northcutt, Lorelei Bushman and Eva Cordero; two sisters, Kathy Griffith and husband Chester and Betty England, all of Amarillo; two brothers, Terry Montgomery and wife Ginger of New Braunfels, TX and David Montgomery and wife Joyce of Blanchard, OK. He was preceded by a brother-in-law, Joe England.
A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the LaGronge Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home on Martin Road. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo with Ken Branum officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Montgomery, Travis Montgomery, Shane Montgomery, Marty England, Joseph Huffman and John Stromberg.
