Jerry David Kelley

Jerry David Kelley, 80, of Amarillo died on Monday, May 25, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, May 29, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel with Father Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Military Honors will be given by Volley for Veterans. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Jerry Kelley was born on December 12, 1934 in Seminole, OK to Albert and Faye Kelley. He graduated from Amarillo High School and proudly served his country in the Army and the Marines. Jerry married the love of his life, Mary on February 15, 1958 in Amarillo. He was a deputy sheriff in Hutchinson, Moore and Wheeler counties and when not working in law enforcement, he owned Kelley Construction. Jerry loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing and telling war stories, but most of all, Jerry loved hanging out with his family and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; a daughter, Tammy Dudley of San Jon; a son, Michael Kelley and wife Annie of Canyon; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
