Jerry Fewell, 70, of Phoenix, Arizona, former Amarillo resident, a loving husband, father, and mentor lost his battle with cancer on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 4:43pm in Phoenix, AZ.  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 22, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Anderson, officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Street.

Jerry was a veteran of the Air Force and used his knowledge of people and computers to start his own LAN center that allowed him to be involved with mentoring and guiding young teens.  His humor was legendary and his advice was freely given to lead teens down the right path.  Jerry was a giver, giving of his time and his talents, for the sole purpose of helping others. Everyone loved Jerry and couldn’t get enough of his humor, his kindness, and his smiles.  We will miss you, Jerry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Connie, his three sons, Randy, Ken, and Shawn, and his eight grandchildren.

Family will receive guest on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at he funeral home.
