Jerry H. Cannon

Jerry H. Cannon, 82, of Amarillo passed from this life on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 15, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Road.
Jerry was born on July 17, 1935 in Roswell, New Mexico to Harvey and Ruby Cannon. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. When he was 19 he started working as a telephone installer for South West Telephone Company before they became AT&T.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Cannon; five children; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
