Jerry Don Branch Sr.

Jerry Don Branch Sr. “Pawpaw" passed away on Monday October 4th, 2021.

Jerry was born in Elloy Arizona on March 15, 1946. Jerry the youngest of his siblings did not have much opportunity to establish roots because of being moved family to family. Jerry had to raise himself, he ended up in Amarillo where he met Darlene Ivy. Jerry and Darlene married in 1965 and just recently celebrated their 56 year anniversary.

Jerry was preceded in death by mother in law Daisy Ivy and father in law Earl Ivy.

Jerry spent many years working for the city of Amarillo. Jerry worked the last twenty years for Texas Sand & Gravel which became Ingram. Jerry was a hard worker who only recently stopped working due to his health. Jerry coached Kids Inc & YMCA baseball for many years. He loved to watch his grandkids Sara & Allie play sports, Pawpaw never missed a game no matter how far. The handshake to granddaughters with cash enclosed was a tradition. Pawpaw loved his great grandkids and had begun watching their games. He was a life long Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan.

Jerry is survived by his wife Darlene Branch, sons Jerry and wife Christina Branch, Anthony and partner John Muir. Two beloved granddaughters Sara and husband Fredo Chavez, Alexandria and fiancé Bryan Contreras. Three beloved great granddaughters Aria, Sydney and Luna.

Special nephew Billy and wife Darlene Dickerson; Special great nephew Marcus Uhrich; Special niece Sierra Gallegos; Sister in law Sharon Uhrich; Special niece Michelle Miller; Sister in law Eulene Neuwirth; Brother in law Danny Ivy; Sisters Betty Martin and Shirlene Brown.
