Jeremie Ray Gomez

Jeremie Ray Gomez, 36, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 in Amarillo.  He was born on April 17th, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas to Rebeca Gomez.

He is survived by his daughter, Gabriella Noel Gomez, 2 sons Jayden Jeremiah and Jeremie Ray Gomez Jr.  of Amarillo, mother Rebeca Gomez of Lubbock,  sisters Crystal Gomez and Vanessa Hernandez (Jorge) of Lubbock,  brother Lupe Simental of Lubbock, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeremie graduated from Palo Duro High School and attended Amarillo College where he received his degree in Auto Body Works.

His life revolved around his three children.  He spent time attending sporting events, playing video games and cooking with them.   He was loved by everyone; he had a big heart and loved doing what he could for his family and his many friends.

He wanted all of his children to have the opportunity to attend college so they could have a better future.

Visitation and Rosary will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.  Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM with burial following at Llano Cemetery East.
