Jay “Jeff” Edmond, 68, of San Leon, Texas, passed away on August 13, 2021.
Jeff was born on April 13, 1953 in El Paso, Texas to Dorothy Edmond. He attended Austin High School in El Paso, Texas before continuing his education in college where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business and insurance. Jeff enjoyed many things in life like collecting corvettes, golfing, and handball but he loved his family and the Green bay Packers football team more than all of it.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy and his former wife, Saundra Edmond.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Edmond; his stepsons, Brooks Brinson and his wife Amy, Boyd Brinson and his wife Julie, Branch Brinson and his wife Angela, Bonner Brinson and his wife Jenny; his grandchildren, Avery Sleeper, Ashley Sleeper, Cason Brinson, John Brinson, Jake Brinson, Conner Brinson, Justin Brown , Jeremy Brown ; a special niece, Brandi Hunter; his two special cats, Sidney and Prissy.
In Lieu of flowers family requests donations to be made to the Amarillo Rescue Shelter.
