Jason Van Nguyen

Jason Nguyen, 63, of Amarillo passed away on February 6, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Vietnam Catholic Church with Father Paul Nguyen as Celebrant.

Jason was born on November 4, 1955 in Vietnam to Man Van and Thang Thi Nguyen. He proudly served his native country in the Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. After the war, Jason moved his family to the Amarillo where he went to work for Tyson. After many years of service, Jason retired from the position of Supervisor in 2017. He was a handyman that could fix anything and he loved working on things. Jason was an entertainer and loved hanging out with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Ha Nguyen; a daughter, Vy Nguyen; a son, Scott Nguyen; two brothers, Dan Nguyen and Tan Nguyen; seven sisters, Nga Nguyen, Mai Nguyen, Cuc Nguyen, Lien Nguyen, Viet Nguyen, Van Nguyen and Loan Nguyen and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
