James Wesley Walls

James Wesley Walls, 84, of Amarillo passed from this life on Monday, April 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2018 in Marlow Cemetery, Marlow, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.

James was born on March 11, 1934 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Bennie and Virginia Walls. He joined the United States Army Air Corp in 1954 where he served his country proudly. James married Dorothy Loveday on April 27, 1967 in Amarillo. He worked at Pantex for over 39 years before retiring. He was a member of Amarillo Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, Nelson Walls and Wayne Canaster, a brother, Jesse Walls, two sisters, Aline Gray and Stella Carter, and a granddaughter, Bethany Heinrichs.

Survivors include his children, Sheila Hull, Vicki Matlock and husband, Willie, and James Walls and wife DeeAnna; six grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
