James Frank “Super Cool” Reece, 64 of Amarillo died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012
Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012 in Citizen’s Cemetery in Clarendon, with the Rev. Harry Williams of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Borger. Arrangements are with LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Mr. Reece was born in Memphis and grew up in Clarendon. He attended Clarendon High School and had lived in Amarillo since 1987. He worked for many years in the construction industry and also worked for ASARCO for several years as well. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bobby Beasley; and two sisters, Huelene Phillips and Goldie Hollemon
Survivors include five sisters, Juanita Walker and Rosezene Redmond of Amarillo, Mary Timmons of Dallas, Linda Fields of Arlington and Martha Harris of Clarendon; one brother, Jimmy Reece of Amarillo, a special niece, Bessie Grays and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
