James F. Baker Sr.

James F Baker Sr., 72 of Amarillo, Texas passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. James was born September 15, 1948 in Pampa, Texas to G. F. and Catherine Baker.

James is preceded in death by his wife Donna J Baker; son James M Baker; his father G. F. Baker Jr; mother Catherine (Kitty) Baker; brother William E Baker.

James is survived by son James M Baker; sister Patt Stewart and husband Nick of Hays, Kansas; brothers Barney G. Baker and wife Rose of Knoxville, Tennessee and Walton Baker.

James went to Pampa High School, he retired from being a house parent at Boys Ranch and Amarillo Children’s Home. He was a Baptist and a veteran of the US Army and a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. James was a fan of football, baseball and golf.
