In Loving Memory of Jacqueline (Jackie) Renay Forbis Price

Jackie Forbis was born on March 8, 1962 to Kent and Elizabeth Price, and passed away on November 17, 2024. She was 62 years old.

Jackie was a devoted mother to her daughter Brittni Forbis and her son Logan Forbis. She was also the proud grandmother of Colson, who was the light of her life and who will always be reminded of the love he and his “Ma” shared. Jackie is also survived by her older sisters Lagena Welch and husband Rick and Loretta Jensen; older brother Tony Price and wife Shirley; niece Angel Hughes and husband Danny, and niece Ashley Young and husband Cole; nephews Greg Price and wife Barb, Justin Price and wife Adelita, and Cliff Hobbs and wife Michelle. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Elizabeth Price, her sister Sharon Hobbs, her aunt Gena Andersen, and her nephew Cody Hobbs.

Jackie’s love for her family was boundless and unwavering, a guiding force in all she did. Jackie was a registered nurse and dedicated 39 years of her life to nursing, embodying compassion and care for others. Her patients and colleagues alike felt the warmth of her kind spirit and tireless dedication. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jackie had a vibrant personality and a zest for life.

Jackie’s happiest moments were spent with her family creating laughter and unforgettable memories. She also enjoyed watching scary movies, learning new recipes to cook, and traveling.

Jackie had a gift for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones through her love and presence. Though her time with us was far too short, Jackie’s legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew her.

Jackie adored the color purple, a hue as rich and warm as her soul. The family suggests wearing purple to the funeral to honor her and make it a little brighter. The family also suggests memorials be sent to the funeral home.
