Jacklin Elizabeth Shuman

Jacklin Elizabeth Shuman, 81, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Pete Talley officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Monday, February 25, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Jacklin was born on March 16, 1937 in Wellston, MO. to George and Lillion Robinson. She married Bob Shuman on February 15, 1969 in Amarillo and on Friday, February 15, 2019, Bob and Jacklin celebrated fifty wonderful years of marriage together. Jacklin worked for S.W. Bell as an operator for over thirty three and half years retiring in 1986. She loved to garden and feed her hummingbirds and she was a collector of ceramic pigs. Jacklin loved spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Donna Stambaugh; her step son, Jeffrey Shuman; two brothers, George Robinson and Robert Leo Robinson Sr. and two sisters, Mary Alice York and Joyce Ann White.

She is survived by her husband, Bob and her dog, Joey; two sons, Michael Shuman and wife Carol and Steven Shuman; nine grandchildren, Eric Shuman, Kurt Shuman, Bryan Shuman, Libby Shuman, Sarah Morgan, Kayla Childress and husband Ryan, Allyssa, Monica Frank and husband Chad and Ryan Stambaugh and wife Kristin and ten great grandchildren.
