On Tuesday June 12th at 10:23PM an Angel was sent to take a woman home to the Father.
This was not just any ordinary woman, but rather she was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
A woman who valued family above all else and talked to God as much as anyone who believed could. A hard working woman most of her life, she worked as a waitress in her early years to support her family. That meant many hours of long shifts in order to put food on the table. She worked hard to raise, feed and clothe 5 children. In order for her children to have clothes to wear she would re-fashion and alter her own clothes to fit the children. She did all of this because she loved her kids and did what any mother would do and that was to make unselfish sacrifices. I remember her being so tired she could barely keep her eyes open or the tears she hid while trying to hold her head up. As we kids got older and started working, we learned how to help out as much as we could because that’s what she taught us. However no family goes without its struggles and hardships but regardless we always seemed to make it. Then she met James Weaver her husband of 30 years. James was a man who loved our Mom and her kids. After they married Mom never had to work as hard as she had and this allowed her more time to devote to sewing. Being a seamstress was her passion and she did it well. She was always making something for her family and she did it because she loved them. People offered to pay her for her work and she wouldn’t even charge enough to pay for the material. She was an unselfish woman and she had an unconditional love for her family. It was not unusual for her to give to the homeless. She always kept her values and her love of God. Her sewing and craft making was her way of giving back for what she was given in life and she gave it her all. She never forgot or missed a family birthday and was always ready with a gift. She was the kind person God finds special because of her love of people and family. She will be missed and loved always but never forgotten. Mom we will always love you and keep you close.
