He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 34 years, Ruby of Amarillo; three daughters, Jacqueline Ford (Darrell) of San Antonio, Pamela Coleman of San Antonio, Lisa Johnson of Houston; three step-daughters, Phyllis Osikha of Arlington, Rhonda Newsome of El Paso and Andrea Simmons (Kevin) of Pearland; and one step-son, Rev. Donald Newsome of Amarillo; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Johnson (Shirley) of San Antonio and Vernard Johnson (Bonita) of El Paso; two sisters, Ruby Lindsey (James) and Lorraine Roberson of San Antonio; a sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
