Israel White Hinojos, 62, died on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Memorial Mass will be said at 2:00 pm., Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Gaudalupe Catholic Church with Father Jose Gomez as Celebrant. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Israel Hinojos was born on November 13, 1951 to Miguel and Cruz Hinojos in McCamey, Texas. Israel graduated from Caprock High School in 1970. Israel owned and operated Chica's Spanish kitchen. Israel loved to cook and bbq for everybody. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family. Israel was always helping other people and had a great sense of humor. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan who enjoyed playing pool with his friends and son. He was also a lifelong avid Caprock football fan going to almost every game.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by one son, Israel Hinojos and fiance Alondra Espinoza of Midland; two daughters, Michele Aymond and husband Tracy of The Colony and Diana West and husband Tom of Little Elm; one brother, Ismael Hinojos and wife Sylvia of Amarillo; two sisters, Elodia Munoz and husband Louis of San Antonio and Linda Hinojos of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Julian, Sophia, Emily, Zachary, Elliott, Ian and Juju and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
