Irene Kay Reyna, 50 of Amarillo died on Friday, October 30, 2015. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Chapel with Deacon Arnold Schwertner. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.,  Monday, November 9, 2015 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church with Father Jim Schmitmeyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S Coulter Road.

Irene was born on March 28, 1965 in Amarillo, Texas to Lee and Dorothy Nicholson.She graduated from Palo Duro High School.  She married Philip Reyna on June 15, 1991 in Amarillo. Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and started a crocheting  circle making blankets to donate to local hospitals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Bobby Nicholson.

Irene is survived by her husband, Philip; her children, Virginia Reyna, Robert Reyna and his girlfriend, Kerry Ferrell, and Jacob Reyna; her sister,  Marsha Plexico and her husband, Al; brother in laws and sister in laws, Mike and Denita Reyna, Pat and Lucinda Reyna, Andy and Cathy Reyna and Carmen Reyna; a uncle, Lowell Cranfill; an aunt, Zelma Brockman and her husband, Joe; two grandchildren, Ayla and Adian; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
