Horace Hugh Millsap, 68 of Amarillo passed away on May 28, 2011.
His funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX with Dr. O.K. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the funeral home.
Mr. Millsap was born June 8, 1942 in Borger to William Allen and Nola Millsap. He grew up in Borger and graduated from Borger High School. He married Peggy Stephens in Amarillo in 1970. Hugh had been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 40 years and owned and operated Millsap Salvage for over 40 years as well. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Gerald and Terry and one sister, Carolyn.
His survivors include his wife Peggy; one daughter, Shaun Hawbaker and husband Kyle of Amarillo; four sisters, Pat, Jean, Donna Kay, and Judy; one brother, William Leon and four grandchildren, Kanten, Jyntre, Jaden and Zeden.
