Horace Jerry Brownd

H. Jerry Brownd, 80 of Amarillo,  passed away in the early morning on August 5, 2015. A private family celebration will be held.   Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors,  8310 S Coulter Road.

Jerry was born in Roswell New Mexico to Margaret and Les Brownd on October 20, 1934. For most of his adult life he worked in radio sales here in Amarillo.  He served in the Marines Corps in the 50's. He loved being around horses and the farming community. Jerry was an avid bowler, he had quite a few 300 games. He also loved auctioneering for which he was schooled and licensed in the 60's.

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, a stepson and step daughter. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
