Hoan V. Nguyen, 75, of Amarillo, died Saturday, October 12, 2019 surrounded by his family.
He was born February 2, 1944, in Vietnam. Hoan was a very dedicated, father and devoted husband. He loved his grandchildren and he will be remembered as a wonderful grandfather. He was a kind neighbor and friend. He believed that Buddha would release his soul and he lived by faith. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ngo Thi Bich Nguyet, one son, Nguyen Tuan Hien; four daughters, Nguyen Giang Thanh, Nguyen Thuy Huong, Nguyen Quynh Giao, Nguyen Phuong Thao; three sons-in-law, Hoang Vu, Le Quoc Hai and Nguyen Kim Huy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Visitations and prayer services will be held on Sunday, October 13, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and on Monday, October 14, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX 79107.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road in Amarillo.
